Go Baby Go provides modified battery-powered ride-on cars for young children with mobility challenges.

Who It’s For
Go Baby Go is designed for children:
– Birth to 5 years old

How It Works
Each car is customized to meet the specific needs of the child.
Modifications may include:
– Push-button or adaptive switch controls
– Customized seating and support
– Safety and stability enhancements
Evey car is built to ensure safe, independent use.
Evaluation
After receiving your application, Go Beyond Limits will contact you to set up an evaluation time in Columbus, IN. The evaluation takes approximately one hour and includes questions about: medical history, medical diagnosis, measurements of the child for accurate adaptation builds, requests from the family for adaptations that would be beneficial, and hobby and interests of the child.
Build
After the evaluation, the building teams will get to work! They will take the information provided in the evaluation to modify the car to the specific needs of the child. Some modifications may include a switch button for stop and go, a custom made car seat, an adapted dashboard for engagement, area for medical equipment storage, or railing for trunk and head safety. All cars will include a slow start and stop modification to increase safety. During the build process, the family will have to come at least once to ensure the measurements and modifications fit properly.
Delivery Day
On delivery day, the builders will present the car and the adaptations completed to all partners involved in the project. The kids will then get to test their cars on a course and go through a car wash! The family will then be able to take the finished adapted car home with them.
